The Kitty Café opened its doors in Leeds in December 2017. Co-owned by cat lovers Kate and her husband Oliver, the Kitty Café is a part rescue centre, and part café. They take in cats from the local community, as well as overflow from rescue centres. Each cat is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, as well as receiving a full veterinary check-up. The café offers tea, coffee, kitty cocktails and food, from a kitchen separated from the kitty area. If you want to give a cat a forever home, you can adopt through the café’s assessment scheme. Now isn’t that ‘the cat’s whiskers?’
